Returning the Advocate, Inc. is founded and situated in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, in Chief Drygeese Territory, the traditional lands of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation and within the broader Treaty 8 territory.

We acknowledge the Yellowknives Dene, the North Slave Metis, and the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Peoples whose histories cultures, relationships, and stewardship continue to shape the North

We are grateful to live and work on these lands and recognize our responsibility to approach this place, its Peoples, and its communities with respect.
